
Who is Tina?
Tina Gates is a dynamic leader in Learning and Development with a passion for designing impactful learning experiences that drive growth and performance. With a strong foundation in both technology and education, Tina brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and creative strategy to every initiative.
She currently serves as a Vice President of Learning and Development, where she’s been instrumental in launching a new department from the ground up and achieving IACET accreditation—raising the bar for quality and innovation in professional training. Previously, as Director of Training, she built another learning function from scratch, growing it into a revenue-generating engine that brought in $2 million annually.
Tina holds two master’s degrees—an MS in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and an MSEd in Learning Design & Technology from Purdue University—alongside a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in her hometown, Detroit. Her diverse background reflects a lifelong curiosity and a drive to connect people, technology, and knowledge in meaningful ways.
Based in Maryland, Tina is always exploring new approaches to learning, mentoring talent, and creating programs that make a real difference.
